Warby Parker

My group is doing our project on Warby Parker, the glasses company. I have really enjoyed doing the research on Warby Parker. This company is amazing.

Warby Parker makes me wish I was an eyeglass wearer.

The company is cool, classy, and sophisticated but also quirky, unique, trendy, and fun.

And they really show that through all their social media.

So far our group has done the situation analysis and the content analysis and we are now in the process of figuring out our focus group. Just from the research we have done so far, I really do feel like I know this company. The content analysis especially really helped me see their style and the way they work. I feel like I really know their unique social media approach after doing the content analysis...

They have a way of really making their audience feel like they are their personal friends and a part of the crew. They are constantly just sharing random facts or pictures of their employees or work spaces.

For example, they instagrammed a bunch of pictures of them in their halloween costumes. They are always showing off their fun/quirky personalities in their posts. They are really good at making you feel personally connected to the company.

They post a lot of cool feature/shout-out posts of someone wearing a pair of their glasses. The pictures are always really aesthetically pleasing too.

They are really good about showcasing their products in a subtle way. They never shove things in the audiences face or constantly try to get people to buy stuff. They are more about just posting awesome pictures that happen to feature a pair of Warby Parker glasses.

I really like Warby Parker's company brand they have created and genuinely enjoy following their social media accounts. I'm excited to continue researching Warby Parker and furthering our progress on this assignment.
