VT Pumpkin Spice Countdown

It's October...and that means it's PUMPKIN SPICE LATTE SEASON!

PSL. PSL. PSL. PSL. PSL.

Don't even try to act like you are too cool for it, everyone loves a good pumpkin spice latte.

In honor of the beautiful PSL season, I have decided to do my own ranking of the best places around campus to get this delicious fall favorite.

Although we know Starbucks is the OG of the PSL, you can pretty much get some version of the pumpkin spice latte at any coffee place.

Listed below - going from the worst of the best to the best of the best (in my opinion) - are four places on campus you can get a delicious pumpkin flavored coffee.

4) Dunkin Donuts

Dunkin Donuts makes a whole assortment of different pumpkin flavored coffee drinks. You can get pumpkin mocha, pumpkin white chocolate, and even a pumpkin creme brulee latte! So many wonderful pumpkin options, and although they are tasty, I wouldn't rate DD for the best quality PSL.

3) EspressOasis (cafe on first floor of Newman library)

The EspressOasis cafe in the library is overall such an underrated campus coffee place. I feel like it is this secret hidden gem. They make EXCELLENT drinks and they also have a whole specialized fall menu of all kinds of fun pumpkin coffee drinks :) Only downside; it's pretty pricey $$$$$$$$$ (BUT sooo good)

2) Starbucks (The OG of the Pumpkin Spice Latte)

Starbucks, the creators of the glorious PSL are obviously high on my list, in the top two. It's also wonderful that we now have like four different Starbucks within miles of campus. BUT they still don't hold that #1 place in my heart. There is still one place on campus that does pumpkin latte's even better than Starbucks....

*#1) Seattle's Best Coffee (Johnston Student Center)*

Seattle's Best Coffee's "Pumpkin Pie Latte" is the greatest thing to ever grace my taste buds.

If you are a pumpkin lover you NEED to try this. 10/10 recommend. Not only is the actual drink itself so delicious but they also have this thick and creamy pumpkin flavored whipped cream that they pile on top. The whipped cream is such a perfect touch - it's heavenly. Starbucks also has pumpkin flavored whipped cream but a) it's not as rich as Seattle's Best Coffee's whipped cream and B) you have to ask Starbucks to add the whipped cream while Seattle's Best Coffee just automatically puts it on there because they KNOW you'll love it.

So, GO NOW!!!

Start drinking all the different pumpkin flavored drinks out there before "Pumpkinber" ends and they disappear on us until next year...
