My Senior Year Bucket List

Unfortunately senior year is here and it is feeling very real and very depressing.

Even after the past three years here at Tech, there are still so many things that i have not taken advantage of. I want to take this last year here as an undergrad student to do some of those things that i have always wanted to do. I need to start crossing things off my bucket list before I leave here for good.

YES, I am aware that most of the things on my *last year bucket list* have to do with food.....don't judge me. I love food and VT dining is KNOWN for its food so i need to start taking advantage of all our yummy yummy food options before I no longer have access to it anymore - SAD :(((((

1) BRUNCH. please!!!!

I love brunch but I only really ever go to Gillies. Don't get me wrong, Gillies is the best brunch place ever but i need to start trying some of the other brunch places around here before i graduate. There are sooo many that i have never been to.

Boudreaux's - has $3 mimosas!!!!

The Social House. 622 North. lefty's brunch (I've had their normal food but never their brunch) Blacksburg Taphouse (been there for normal food but not brunch)

2) VT Dining!!!!

Things I still have never gotten at dining halls that I NEED to try:

-the lobster meal from west end

-the Philly cheese-steak from Owens

GO TO THE FOOD TRUCKS !!!!!

3) Attend Sports more....

I need to try and go to more football games this year!!! (so far I've been surprisingly good about that this year - I went to the Bristol game and half of the homecoming game (that's BIG for me)

I want to try and go to at least one basketball game - that would be cool

4) Take advantage of BEAUTIFUL Blacksburg

-Hike Dragon"s Tooth - I have done McAfees Knob and Cascades but i still really want to do Dragon"s Tooth

-Local breweries!! The "Rising Silo" brewery is apparently a really cool local brewery that's a really good time and has really beautiful scenery. There's ping pong tables and pizza and a fire-pit. It Sounds awesome and something that I definitely want to go check out

LAST but not LEAST... to just go downtown more....because for a senior I definitely don't do that enough....I really never do it.
